On May 15, we were notified that our collaborative 6-month-long paper titled "The necessity of inheritance and innovation of classical acupuncture from the rise of dry needling", along with first author senior medical acupuncturist (Professor. Guan-Yuan Jin, Medical Director / Expert Consultant of the Woodlands Acupuncture) will soon be officially published in World Journal of Acupuncture-Moxibustion (WJAM)'s 4th Vol. in Oct, 2023. WJAM was established in 1991 in Beijing China, administered by National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and sponsored by World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies (WFAS), Institute of Acupuncture and Moxibustion, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences (CACMS), and China Association of Acupuncture and Moxibustion (CAAM). WJAM is the first acupuncture and moxibustion academic journal in English language in China and has been published smoothly and healthy for more than 30 years.
As an international academic journal of acupuncture-moxibustion from the cradle country of acupuncture medicine, WJAM strives to promote acupuncture medicine as an independent and systematic discipline rather than a complementary intervention worldwide.
